Last week during a routine maintenance inspection, one of the ropes in Tower C, elevator # 1 was found to have some damage. In an abundance of caution said elevator was removed from service and replacement part was ordered. However, the company that manufactures the replacement rope is based in India and replacements are made to order. Due to Covid19, production/delivery times have been extended, the earliest the replacement rope can be delivered is the week of August 24th. Installation will be scheduled immediately after.
