Dear Residents,

Please be advised that permits for Pool 1 have been secured, and restoration work is scheduled to begin as of Monday, February 1^st. The pool will be shut down as of this Sunday afternoon at 6:00 PM, so that we can begin draining the pool and preparing the area for work. All furniture around Tower 1 pool deck will be removed and the immediate area will be temporarily fenced in, until the work in the pool is completed.

As we had previously indicated, we estimate that Pool 1 will be closed for approximately 6 months, during which time Pool 2 will remain available for residents. In addition, starting next week, we will be extending beach service to include Thursdays and Fridays.

Regrettably the pool restoration will require ongoing use of jackhammers throughout the week between the hours of 9am – 4:30pm. Residents who need a quite area to work are encouraged to utilize the Card Room or Multipurpose Room in Building 1121.
