Per order of the Mayor, please be advised that our beach, as well as all beaches throughout Miami-Dade, will be closed starting Friday and will reopen on Tuesday.  The Towers is intending to keep our two pools open for residents only – NO GUESTS at this time. The Pool Rules established May 28th, below, shall be strictly enforced. Given the limited capacity for sitting around the pool due to social distancing guidelines, we ask that Residents limit their time at the pool so that we are able to accommodate as many residents throughout the day as possible.

REMINDER: Please wear face masks whenever you are outside of your units

Swimming Pools will be open for the exclusive use of TKB residents. Until future notice, rules pertaining to use of the pools and the pool decks shall include:

• Pool hours shall be limited to 8am to 7pm, with staff onsite during those hours. Pools are not to be used outside of those hours.
• No more than 10 people may use a pool at the same time. If there are close to the maximum number of people permitted in the pool, please limit your time to 30 minutes to allow others to use the pool.
• Social distancing is required. Individuals from different households shall remain a minimum of 6′ apart in the pools and on the pool decks.
• Lounge chairs will be placed on disks marked on the pool decks and are not to be moved. If multiple members of a household wish to sit together, they may ask the Guard to provide additional chairs (not lounge chairs), and also inform the Guard upon your departure so they can be removed and cleaned. These chairs must be no closer than 6′ from another household’s chairs.
  • Please inform pool staff when you leave so that they can disinfect the chairs you used.
  • Residents who wish to bring their own chairs are welcome to do so.
  • Disinfectant spray will be available for residents to use prior to their use of chairs.
• All residents using lounge or regular chairs shall be required to cover them with a yellow towel.
• Pool bathrooms will be closed during this phase of the pools’ reopening. Bathrooms by the elevators in Towers 1 and 2 will remain available.

Please also be reminded that the BBQ area will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the same rules that were announced on June 15th (below).  BBQ Grill: Only one person at a time may use the grill for a maximum of 30 minutes, and in the event that someone is already using the grill when you go, the TKB Staff person will keep a list of additional residents who wish to use the grill, and can call you a few minutes before the grill is expected to be available for you. Our staff will disinfect the BBQ knobs and counter surfaces between each user. No chairs or tables will be allowed. The BBQ will be available during the following hours:

• Friday              5:30 – 9:00pm
• Saturday          Noon – 9:00pm
• Sunday            Noon – 9:00pm
